Rinkai! Women's Cycling Anime Announces Release Date And Time, Staff, and More

On February 21, 2024, the Rinkai! anime project shared exciting news about its premiere. The official website and X handle announced that the show would debut on April 9, 2024, airing on Tokyo MX and other networks. At the same time, they unveiled the main visual and a teaser PV for the anime.

Rinkai! is a mixed-media anime project, focusing on reviving women’s cycling. Mixi is the creative force behind it, and TMS Entertainment is set to produce the anime. Additionally, a manga series titled Rinkai! Azalea by Kiyoshi Yamane will be serialized in Amazia’s Manga Bang magazine in the second quarter of 2024.

The anime is scheduled to release on April 9, 2024, at 11:30 pm JST on the Tokyo MX channel. Following that, it will be broadcast on BS Fuji on April 10, at 12:30 am JST. The show will also be available simultaneously on U-NEXT and Anime Hodai.

Accompanying the broadcast details is a new teaser promotional video for the anime project. Lantis is responsible for music production, with Shuichiro Fukuhiro, Mana Hirano, and Yoshihei Ueda composing the series’ music.

The remaining staff includes Ryo Tanaka as the sound director, Niki Higaki as the art director, Yuichi Goto as the CG director, Megumi Uchida as the editor, Haruko Nobori as the color key artist, and Yuko Kamahara as the compositing director of photography.

The women’s sports anime boasts an impressive cast, featuring Umino Kawamura as Izumo Ito, Azusa Aoi as Nana Hiratsuka, Saika Kitamori as Sachi Nagoya, Riho Sugiyama as Kinusa Takamatsu, Rena Hasegawa as Miko Yahiko, Minami Hinata as Ai Kumamoto, and Rico Sasaki as Tsutsuji Kurume.
